The mezcal and tequila, drinks so old that they saw the birth of what is now Mexico and that were not only close to the ceremonies and the celebration, but also near the remedies and medicine, impregnated with mystery and magic of the millenary civilizations that they flourished in our territory. Its only mention refers us to the rituals of other days. The blue agave and the mezgue maguey before being used for the elaboration of drinks, were very well taken advantage of by the natives, since they were used to realize ceilings, needles, ropes nails, paper, detergent soaps or to heal wounds, among other utilities that he owned.
Legend has it that one stormy day, the ancient inhabitants of the current state of Jalisco had to take shelter in a cave to be safe.
